On December 6th, 2024, Limber Disc Golf announced the closure of their retail and online store. Limber has been a staple in the Calgary disc golf community and contributed with events, sponsorships and growing the sport. In an Instagram Post announcing the closure, Limber says
With a heavy heart we have made the tough decision to close the retail aspect of Limber Disc Golf … The Limber Hollow will continue hosting events and continue to host our disc golf fundraising classics we’ve grown over the years.
We’re a big proponent of “shop local” and are sad to see such a strongly community driven store close down. Local stores make disc golf more accessible and better accessibility helps grow the sport.
