It’s that spooky time of year again where disc manufactures release their special edition stamps. Here are our top picks for the 2023 Halloween season from Rare Discs:
1. MVP Discs – Axiom Hex Simon Lizotte Leapin’ Lizottl’
Coming in First Place this year is MVP’s release of the Spooky Axiom Hexes. These Hexes are a straight to overstable mid-range with a unique two colour glow. The inner glow colour and outer rim are separate glow colours! These discs glow very brightly, even though colour glow is slightly less bright than standard Eclipse 2.0. Don’t forget the Axiom Crave and MVP Nomad which were also released simultaneously and have cool Halloween themed stamps.
2. Discraft Buzzz – Halloween 2023 Glow
Second place goes to the Discraft Halloween Buzzz. Discraft finally has a bright glow compound, with the same great feeling plastic. It’s bright and long lasting. The Buzzz this year has several stamp foil variations that make it unique. There’s also a non-glow full colour print.
3. Prodigy F3 – 400 Glow Rippit Frog
In third place is the Prodigy F3 Frog who’s brewing up a witches potion. Is it a potion of tree avoidance? Find out by throwing this cute Halloween disc. Hopefully it doesn’t end up in the swamp!
